Tea tree is well-known for its powerful antiseptic properties and ability to treat wounds.
It is a great natural alternative for getting rid of pimples. It has unique disinfecting and soothing properties and, unlike other acne treatments, tea tree oil will not strip your skin of its natural oils and cause further damage.
If you never used Tea tree oil and have sensitive skin or allergies I would recommend testing the Tea tree oil before putting it on your face by applying a small amount to the inner arm. Any allergic reaction or irritation will manifest within a few minutes. If you don’t have a reaction you should be fine with using it to treat any acne or blemishes on your face.
To apply, pour a few drops of tea tree oil onto a cotton bud, cotton pad or tissue. Gently dab the tea tree oil onto any pimples or spots. Leave for a few hours, or overnight. The redness and swelling should decrease.
I have been using Tea tree oil and Tea tree solutions now for over 2 years and every time I use it a see a difference, it won’t get rid immediately of pimples but it is reducing the redness and the swelling and it speeds up the healing process .
If you want to try something that isn’t going to be too aggressive on your skin and if you like natural products you should definitely give Tea tree oil a try .
