The Tartelette Toasted joined the Tartelette family last year in Autumn. This is now the third Tartelette palette they carry!
The first Tartelette palette is all matte and cool toned. Check the link for a full review https://makeupandwakeup.com/tarte-tartelette-eyeshadow-palette/
The second Member of the family is the Tartelette in Bloom palette (full review coming soon) and that palette is more on the neutral side and it comes with 9 matte shades and 3 shimmery ones!
And fast forward, tadaa Tartelette Toasted. This palette is a truly warm-toned palette.
As you can see from the picture above this palette has the peachy-orange shades the warm browns and those delicious golds and copery shades.
The name of this palette is very on point for this palette. Every time I see it I get this cozy toasty feeling and they really nailed the packaging! It has all the toasty vibes that one can imagine!
The layout of the palette is as always really smart! You have your three rows and even if you are a beginner or don’t feel inspired to create a look, the palette will do it for you! Just choose the one you like the most and that will do. That doesn’t mean that you only have to stick to the rows every shade in this palette works beautifully together and you can mix and match as your heart desires.
The Palette has 5 matte shades, one satin shade, 4 shimmery-metallic shades and one matte shade infused with large glitters.
S’more is a matte light creamy shade
Sunrise is a creamy champagne with a satin finish
Sunset is a metallic gold/bronze shade
Crackle is a deep brown with gold flecks
Cashmere is a light coral-peachy matte shade
Warmth is a very warm orange shade with a matte finish
Flame is a rusty shade with a metallic finish
Cozy is a warm-toned brown with a matte finish
Candle is a metallic champagne shade
Latte is a light tan shade with a matte finish
Simmer is a copper shade with a metallic finish
Fireside is a deep plum shade with a matte finish
I am a warmed toned girl and I really like the shade selection in this palette. And the shade names are so cute and go really well with the theme this palette has.
Now the big question: How does this palette performe and is it worth picking it up?
It’s no secret that I am a huge fan of Tarte Cosmetics, and once again they impressed me with this palette.
The shades in the palette are perfect, pigmented and creamy, they blend to perfection and the fall out while applying them is very reasonable. The only shade I don’t love as much as the other shades is the shade named Candle it seems to me that it is a little chunky for my liking. ( You can even see it in the picture of the swatches below)
As far as the formulation of the shade goes I notice a little difference in the formulation when I compare it to the other two Tartelette palettes I own. The matte shades seem to be softer and the metallics have more punch in them. However, I enjoy every Tartelette palette the same aside from the little difference in the formulation of the shade.
The shades are as always formulated with Amazonian Clay which claims (and holds that claim) a long wear and non-fading throughout the day.
This palette is also infused with vanilla extract, which makes this palette smell so good and the scent isn’t overpowering you just get that pleasant scent while applying and then it fades away.
The price of the palette is just like the other Tartelette palette $ 45 and you can get it on Tarte’s website, at Sephora, Ulta or on QVC (QVCUK as well)
So in conclusion: The Tarte Tartelette Toasted Palette is definitely a DOPE palette in my opinion. It is a warm-toned dream come true and if you are a warmed toned lover I don’t see how you’d get disappointed by this palette! It has everything and more!
Now, what’s next? We have a cool toned palette a neutral and a warm-toned palette the only one left would be a colorful palette and they could maybe name it Tartelette- POP ( get it for all the pops of colors you’d get in the palette 😉 Whacha say Tarte :D?
