First of all, I am a Tarte addict, everything they bring out I have to have!
But when it came to this palette I was a little hesitant. I read/heard a lot of mixed reviews on this one. Somewhere saying it’s their holy grail and others it’s bad!
And I did not purchase this one for the longest time, until the least F&F Sale, and I must say I regret the fact that I didn’t get this eyeshadow palette earlier.
First of all, Tarte always nails the packaging, second beautiful cool and neutrals matte colors (12 in total), soft as butter they blend like a dream and they last a really long time on my eyes.
If you are a fan of good quality matte eyeshadows than go for it, I think that this palette is totally worth the splurge and comparable with the other Tartelette Eyeshadow Palettes!
Here are the swatches! I tried my best with the pictures but unfortunately, the lighting wasn’t that good.
Still, you can get an idea of what the colors look like.
As you can see this palette offers a great variety of color! You have everything you need to create a full-on eyeshadow look! (Matte eyeshadow look)
You have your lighter shade to set your primer, highlight your brow bone/inner corner. You have your crease shades, lid shades and you can even use these eyeshadows to create an eyeliner. What I will do sometimes is even use these eyeshadows to fill in my brows 😉
And if you don’t feel inspired to create an eye look just open the palette, and it will inspire you as the lay out of this palette really user/beginner friendly.
Each row begins with the lightest shade and ends with the deepest one. So you can just follow the row you like the best and start by putting the lighter shade in your inner corner and highlit your brow bone with it. The next two shade you can use in your crease and lid and use the last shade in that row to deepen your eye look or to create a winged liner.
So what are your thoughst on this Eyeshadow Palette? Do you like it or do you prefer one of the other eyeshadow Palette that Tarte carries?
