Finding the right foundation can be really difficult ! And i know what I am talking about , I’ve tried a lot. And most of the time i was disappointed. But one of my current favourites is the Tarte Rainforest of the sea

now i know everyone and their momma and sister has been talking about this foundation but I still thought I’d say something too.

The foundation is a water based foundation and it comes in a beautiful glass bottle, you don’t get a pump with it , instead you are getting a dropper. Now i heard and read a lot of people who thought that the dropper was a little messy but for me I really do not have that problem.

The foundation it self is really runny since it is water base , coverage wise I would say it has a solid medium coverage but you can easily build it up. And it dries down to a beautiful semi matte finish( kind a powdery but in a good way , it softens any poor  or lines)

Now who can where this foundation? It suits best normal to combination oily skin. But don’t fear if your skin is dry ,you can easily pull it off.

I my self have at the moment  really dry skin and i still have worn it  and every time it looked great. You just have to make sure to moisturise your face before you apply the foundation.

Application : you can do both ways brush or sponge , i find that for me it works best if I stipple it with a brush and sometimes i’ll go over it with a damp sponge. Shade ways they extended they range recently and now you can choose between 21 shades.

the foundation contains spf 15 witch is also great and it is cruelty free as always with tarte products.

if you live in the US you can buy the foundation directly on tartecosmetics, on sephora or QVC.

when you live outside of the US you can order it on tartecosmetics.com  ,they ship now worldwide.Or if you live in Europe you can buy it as well on QVCUK.com ( they have it at the moment as a bundle together with the matching brush)
