Colourpop Pressed Powder Shadows

Left to right: Just in Time – High Strung – Get Out – Cute Alert

If you haven’t heard, I got some exiting news : Colourpop came out with new pressed shadows. 😀

As soon as T heard it I knew I had to have them.

They sell each for $5 (incredible :D)

Since I didn’t know how they perform I decided not to go hem on them and just bought a bundle with 4 shadows on it.

I got the Hi-Maintenance palette and it came with an extra z – type of palette and I even saved $ 2 😉

As I mentioned it comes with 4 shadows, 2 of them are matte, 1 satin and 1 of them is a shimmery-metallic shade. The palette is your typical cranberry rosy palette.

Shades in the palette:

Just in Time: satin soft gold

High Strung: metallic dusty rose

Get Out: matte cool cranberry

Cute Alert: matte deep burgundy

Now all I have to say is : I am pretty impressed. The shadows are incredibly pigmented and they blend like a dream and I mean come on you can not beat the price!!

I have read so many reviews from people saying that the shadows are really powdery and they have a lot of kick back, but I didn’t find them to be powdery, at all. I think they perform beautifully and I haven’t had any issues applying or blending them.

My favorite shade of these 4 would definitely be: High Stung – it is too pretty ,alone  the brush application without any kind of fixing spray is amazing and if you would apply it with your finger it looks super foiled.

My recommendation to you: If you see a color that you like, go for it 🙂
